In the pro-wrestling business, with the immense stardom, there comes a thought about “not appearing weak in front of the audience”. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair engaged in a verbal altercation
Both the superstars were set to exchange their titles in a backstage segment on last night’s WWE SmackDown. However, according to PWInsider, there was a backstage confrontation between Lynch and Flair following their title exchange.
During the Championship Exchange segment, there was a moment where Flair had to hand the belt to Lynch. However, Flair pulled it away and threw the belt on the mat, which was not the initial plan.
Lynch also adopted the same course of action when Sonya Deville asked for Becky’s title, ‘The Man’ threw her title belt at Flair, which was not in the script.
The real reason it happened
The reason both the female superstars went off the script and produced this uncalled-for confrontation was that ‘The Queen’ said she didn’t want to look weak, nor did she want her title reign to look weak during the segment.
