Injuries often can turn a pro wrestler’s career upside down. Some of the biggest stars also had to retire from in-ring action because of the severity of the injuries. And during this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, former WWE Champion Big E suffered a neck injury.

Following his match on WWE SmackDown, Big E got stretchered out from ringside. Later, he posted a video on social media to provide an update on his health.

He thanked the fans for their concern and revealed that he had suffered a broken neck.

In his video, Big E said, “I can’t thank all of you beautiful people enough for all of your concern and messages. It’s very heartwarming. Strength feels fine.”

“But unfortunately, right now they tell me my neck is broken. So there’s that. But once again, thank you everybody. I am going to be alright,” he added.

Following Big E’s post, the fans took to social media to once again show their concerns for the former WWE Champion. After all, they again want to see him in action soon.

Several pro wrestlers also took to Twitter and wished for Big E’s quick recovery.

Big E and Kofi competed tonight in a tag team contest against Sheamus and Ridge Holland.

During the match, Holland hit Big E with a suplex. But unfortunately, Big E had a botched landing. He landed on his head, taking the bump on his neck.
