Dwayne Johnson made a return to WWE in September after four long years. The Rock hasn’t been in any major matchups so far. However, a top WWE star has now voiced his opinion on a great fighting opportunity for him. He has put forward the possibility of Dwayne Johnson becoming Roman Reigns’ next opponent.
Jey Uso distanced himself from The Bloodline several weeks ago. But, the Samoan WWE star is still very much connected to them. Recently, Jey Uso spoke about Dwayne Johnson battling it out against Roman Reigns. He said that their future face-off could be a very great draw at WrestleMania40.

Jey Uso recently appeared in an interview with the Daily Mail UK’s Alex McCarthy wherein he spoke about Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson. According to him, “If I had to pick one, I’d pick the Tribal Chief. The Rock’s been out of the game for a while, the Tribal Chief know what it is.”
Jey Uso further added, “I feel like no one’s going to de-throne the Tribal Chief if it’s not one of us in the family – I don’t think there’s no one out there. Punk, Randy, it’s none of them.” While there are currently no confirmed announcements so far, Jey Uso seemed quite keen on the match.
He also mentioned that the result wouldn’t matter, “’It could work and I feel it would be real entertaining. That’s the two biggest stars in our family, but we’re still winning either way.” While Jey Uso is very confident in the matchup between Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns, things aren’t looking for him good on the individual front.

In fact, he just lost his latest wonderful catchphrase.
Jey Uso and the yeeting of his catchphrase
After Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, Jey Uso also started a great singles run. However, he lost rights to the word ‘yeet’ from his repertoire, due to a copyright claim. The word ‘yeet’ was already taken by an indie wrestler in 2021, which caused certain problems for WWE in monetizing it.

Jey Uso had first said the word ‘yeet’ after winning the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champs title alongside Cody Rhodes. The drunken reaction of Uso in the post-Fastlane conference immediately won everyone over. WWE had also invested in a big merch collection for the word, but everything has now been yeeted out.

However, it seems that things might be looking up for the star, as he recently tweeted the word out on The Usos social media. This is considerable, especially since previously the Uso twin had been censored several times for the usage of the word. While Jey Uso’s new catchphrase is still under neither here nor there, will the same happen with his prediction on the Johnson vs Reigns match?
