“Too Much”, “It’s Earned”: Fans Divided Over Roman Reigns’ Unreal WWE 2K23 Ratings

Not only in real life but even in the virtual world, Roman Reigns seems to be invincible. He carries his unbeatable streak everywhere. This has resulted in his character getting the highest possible rating by 2K, the American video game publisher. An unreal take like this has also divided fans into two groups.

If one looks back at the champion’s journey, one would see how he has come a long way since being the face that fans hated. However, things turned around soon. Now, it’s quite known to all that no one has been able to break The Tribal Chief’s dominant Universal Title reign. But do you know that the champion has ruled the promotion with his streak of 152 matches without being pinned? Reigns is the proud owner of such impressive feats and he has yet another record in his grasp after his game ratings were revealed. Fans expressed their thoughts on the issue online.

Fans react differently to the WWE 2K23 rating of Roman Reigns

After all these unbelievable achievements of The Powerhouse, it got pretty difficult for the team at 2k to honor him with a rating when creating his character in WWE 2K23. However, as per Wrestle Ops and The SmackDown Hotel, they figured a way out. They will hand him a rating that is presumably the highest, the rating of 99.

As soon as the news broke to the entire WWE Universe, fans exploded with all excitement. Most of them were supporting 2K’s decision to give the WWE’s undisputed world champion the highest rating. However, some thought ‘it’s too much.’

A fan even revisited the 2k14 edition of the game when beating The Undertaker’s streak was the most difficult. 

What stayed as a common element between all these fans was their enthusiasm for the game, which seemed unstoppable as well. 

More interesting elements of WWE 2K23

The game has introduced new elements and mechanics to the game to keep the fans excited. They announced John Cena as the cover star of WWE 2K23, which The Champ proudly declared via a Twitter post. The special elements of the game don’t end here as Cena fans will  get an opportunity to relive his career and play through his highs and lows. The 2K team has made this possible by introducing Cena’s own 2K Showcase mode in the game. 

Now, after falling in love with WWE 2K22, fans are eager to get their hands on the latest video game of this year, WWE 2K23. The game launches on March 17, 2023. However, the owners of the Deluxe or Icon Edition of the game can play it as soon as March 14.
