Before Sting drives off into the sunset for a well-deserved retirement, he has received many well wishes from his former colleagues and other legends in the industry. AEW Revolution is merely a few hours away and so is The Stinger’s farewell match. Recently, Booker T gave his honest thoughts about the former WWE star when he got the chance to talk about him on his podcast.
Although the two have only been in the same company for a brief period, Booker T only has good things to say about the WCW legend. Not only did he praise his former colleague, but he also pointed out how Tony Khan played his trump card right.

Despite denying it for two decades, Sting finally accepted WWE’s offer and joined the promotion in 2014. Many fans consider the run to be insignificant among his other lustrous wrestling achievements. This is when he must have met Booker T. After Sting returned from his injury hiatus, he joined AEW.
With his last match approaching, Booker T sat down in a podcast live stream on his Hall of Fame Podcast and said, “Sting’s a humble dude. Sting’s humble. You’re not gonna find too many guys have a lot of bad things to say about Sting. He’s humble as humble can be.” After praising the legend, Booker T revealed how Darby Allin had a huge role to play in accompanying Sting’s AEW run.
“I don’t think it could have been done without Darby. Darby was the guy that was going out there, doing a lot of the work but still representing Sting at the same time, still putting Sting on a pedestal at the same time,” Booker T further added. He believes that Allin deserves his due credit for representing the legend that he grew up watching.
Another wrestling legend apart from Booker T had some nice things to say about his old friend, Sting.
