Tony Khan’s AEW Might Lose Major Japanese Talent to WWE Because of Their Passiveness

However, new reports suggest that AEW is rather passive about the situation, which could leave them empty-handed at the end of the day.

Giulia, a Japanese wrestling talent, has almost served her contract with STARDOM and may be open to leaving the company now. According to several reports, Giulia was first going to sign with AEW. However, new additions to the story suggest that WWE might take this opportunity away.

As mentioned above, Giulia was first speculated to sign with AEW. This is because it is easier to get into the promotion compared to WWE. However, the Stamford-based company is known for keeping its eyes on talented individuals. According to Dave Meltzer from WON, AEW has not made a play for Giulia and there is reportedly no interest from either Giulia or AEW to sign her onto the promotion. Meanwhile, WWE has reportedly shown an interest in Giulia and could be planning on signing her. There are also reports that Giulia might just sign on with STARDOM again. “AEW has never made a serious play for her & she’s had no conversations with them, is not considering AEW. It’s either she’s headed to WWE or staying in Japan,” Meltzer said.
