The wrestling world gets crazier when you’re not paying attention. A recent video from an independent wrestling show has caught the attention of fans. The clip appears to be a bit problematic. Fans can see the referee in a match-turning into a wrestler himself. That is not the only problem in the footage. What some may find disturbing is that the referee sets a wrestler on fire inside the ring.
Although with very little to no connection to this story, the AEW president Tony Khan was still dragged into the comments. The internet community expressed their shock at the video and decided to play around with Tony Khan.

The internet is a fun place to hang around. Usually, the most serious topics are given a hilarious turn by the netizens. However, this particular comment section is on a different plane. In the captured footage, fans can see a wrestler picking up his opponent overhead. While in that position, the referee sets the wrestler on fire as his opponent throws him out of the ring on the hard ground.
A wrestling fan’s concern has awakened, “we now have referees setting people on fire. WTF is going on.” The clip truly leaves you questioning several things.

A fan said, “Tony Khan will be hiring him now.” The AEW president will not be happy seeing this tweet pop up on his screen.
Whatever it going on, one thing is for sure, this isn't wrestling!🤣

I'm sure all 9 people were entertained

That’s a great way to point out how small the wrestling event was. Even if it was done purely for entertainment, people don’t consider it worth the pain and effort.
Don’t give Tony any ideas. Lol

Amongst all the other things that the video comprises, they don’t even appear to be the worst detail.
Although the goal was to entertain the audience, it should not come at the cost of somebody’s safety. It is a known fact that wrestlers put their bodies on the line to entertain people and earn a living. But care must be taken for the well-being of the performers.
