Journalist Dave Meltzer recently spoke about an NJPW superstar who was a part of the AEW All-Out Event last year at Wembley Stadium. Meltzer gave his opinion on where the NJPW superstar will head after his contract expires as both Triple H and Tony Khan are vouching for him. But which side will he pick?

Kazuchika Okada indecisive about his future

Meltzer initially stated the sources of his info on former IWGP Champion and G1 climax champion, Kazuchika Okada. He revealed a major update on the decision of Okada by stating, “I’ve heard from people and talked to people who know him very well, who have talked to him in the last day or two, and he has not decided. Well, after getting us all confused regarding Okada’s contract status, Meltzer finally gave his opinion. He said, AEW is probably the favorite, but anybody who says it’s a done deal – it ain’t a done deal. But I do know that there’s people in AEW who are thinking they’ve got him.” Hence, we can safely assume that the chances of Okada appearing at AEW are higher than WWE.

Okada’s situation is quite similar to NJPW Women’s Champion, Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks. After months of rumors regarding her return to WWE, some sources stated that she was moving to AEW. It not only confused wrestling fans but Meltzer too.

In the end, he gave a similar verdict in his defense by stating that Sasha Banks may move to either WWE or AEW. However, he strongly refused to pick a side until a deal was finalized.
