Having Cody Rhodes rejoin WWE again was a decision that benefitted the promotion in many ways. Now, they might have their eyes set on Pillman Jr. In fact, if ‘PW Insider‘s reports are accurate, the wrestler might already have signed with the NXT brand. Fans saw the wrestler displaying his talent in an AEW taping back in December 2022. His contract with Tony Khan has expired only for him to start a career with WWE.

Reports suggest that after his Orlando tryout last month, the ex-AEW star is being considered for ‘bigger battlefields’. In fact, if these reports are to be believed, the wrestler has already signed with WWE to debut in NXT. However, leaks also suggest that the management is not in a hurry to have Pillman Jr. debut yet. So, it might take a good while before WWE fans get to see him.

Even though Khan is appearing to lose a card from his deck, he might even get a bigger one in return. Rumors suggest that AEW’s CEO is in talks with a seven-time world champion who once served WWE.
