Ronda Rousey’s recent appearance for Ring of Honor (ROH) stirred wrestling circles, marking a tag team match after AEW Rampage in Inglewood. However, Tony Khan clarified her status, affirming it’s not a contractual commitment with AEW/ROH. During a post-AEW Full Gear media scrum, Khan disclosed the details, emphasizing Rousey’s absence from an official contract.

He said, “She (Ronda Rousey) is not signed, but we had a great conversation. It came about because there was some unfinished business. They had that match, and I thought it would be great for our fans to see them settle it in the ring. The match, featuring Rousey and Marina Shafir against Athena and Billie Starkz, is set to air on a future ROH TV episode

He also further added, “At the Wrestling Revolver show they had the tag match, and to be honest, I had spoken to them and I thought it would be great to have a match to build some interest and have the story come back to Ring Of Honor.” Despite the absence of a formal contract, Khan expressed interest in future collaborations, citing a positive interaction with Rousey.
