Tonga Loa returned to WWE at Backlash to help Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. Since then, he has developed into a regular member of The Bloodline. It was a memorable appearance for many, but not for all the right reasons. Loa failed to deliver a simple low blow to Kevin Owens in one instance, only being able to connect in his third attempt.

In his attempt, he ended up accidentally hitting one of his teammates in the head. Back then, it was reported by Fightful Select that there were a lot of jokes in the WWE locker room after the mistake Loa made by Kevin Owens twice in the lower zone. But things have only gone worse for the member of the Bloodline.

In the 2024 edition of WWE SummerSlam, the main event featured a match between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes with the Bloodline rules stipulation, thus allowing several interferences to occur, including the much-awaited return of the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. However, before the Big Dog came out, Loa, delivered yet another hilarious botch.

A video captured by a fan reveals that while Kevin Owens and Randy Orton came to help out the American Nightmare against the members of the Bloodline, there was a spot where Loa was being chased by the two through the audience. Being the clumsy superstar that he is, the Tongan-American superstar somehow managed to trip and almost injure one of the fans. However, this wasn’t the only botch by the member of the Bloodline. somehow he managed to have two botches in one small appearance.

During the Bloodline’s interference, there was a spot where Tonga Loa was supposed to hit a move similar to the spear, where he ends up picking Rhodes and hitting the turnbuckles with him. But instead of hitting the turnbuckles, Loa ends up hitting the ropes, only to clumsily shift to the turnbuckles later. These instances surely prove that Loa has yet to improve a lot before he can get a main event run. Maybe that’s the reason why he was replaced in the tag team match against DIY.

After Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga won a ‘Gauntlet Match’ in front of all the teams on the SmackDown roster, they got a shot at the DIY WWE Tag Team Championships. Both teams faced each other in the edition of the blue brand’s show before SummerSlam. In the end, the members of The Bloodline emerged as winners. However, it was stated earlier that Tonga Loa would be a part of the aforementioned gauntlet match. But he had to be ruled out because of an eye injury. As a result, Jacob Fatu became part of it all, winning gold with Tama Tonga.

Maybe the number of botches was the reason behind his not getting the shot. Earning gold means always being in the spotlight, something that will expose Loa’s botches more and more. Tonga Loa was previously in WWE in 2012 and 2014 as Camacho. He was part of a team with Hunico until he was sent to NXT and later released from his contract. After this stage, he ended up at NJPW. He remained there until this year. He won the NJPW Tag Team Championships seven times in the Japanese company alongside Tama Tonga as a member of the Guerrillas of Destiny. What do you think? Should Loa be sent to WWE developmental again? Let us know in the comments.
