Tonga Loa received a major opportunity on this week’s Smackdown when he was handed the WWE Tag Team Championship. We’ve all seen how Solo Sikoa gave Jacob Fatu a huge order to give Loa the Championship, and how the fans despised it. It is believed that WWE may have given Loa another shot, but the wrestler seemed to have failed the company with yet another botch.
On this week’s SmackDown, Tonga Loa and Tama Tanga defended their belts against Street Profits, and the bout was rather entertaining. There were several fantastic moments in the contest, but it appears Loa still missed a slot. During the fight, both Bloodline members were standing outside the ring until Angelo Dawkins rushed in to deliver them his famous tackle at ringside. The tackle was supposed to hit Tama Tanga, and the impact was supposed to strike Tonga Loa, who would have then shattered the ringside barricade.
Although this was rumored to be the strategy WWE was hoping to carry out, it did not occur. Tama Tanga performed admirably and took the tackle seriously, but Loa was unable to complete his part. The new Champion was a little slow to respond, which caused him to worry on the spot and fail to hit the barricade. Not only that, but Loa managed to fall exactly under Tanga, making the location appear unappealing from a professional wrestling standpoint.

More than the botch, there was also a video going viral on the internet in which we can see Jacob Fatu obviously unhappy after the bout concluded on this week’s Smackdown.
Jacob Fatu may be upset with Tonga Loa for the mistake
Following the botch, the bout proceeded, and Bloodline was able to retain the Tag Team Championship. Although it appears like Tama Tanga was the only one active in the match’s final moments, Tonga Loa was simply resting outside. Fatu brought him into the ring, but the way he did it was not particularly impressive.

Is Tonga Loa becoming a liability for the Bloodline with his constant botches in crucial matches?
Have an interesting take?
Jacob Fatu threw Tonga Loa in fairly tough, but he did it so that the entire Bloodline would stand tall in the end. Although this might have been done on purpose by WWE to demonstrate Fatu’s displeasure over the fact that the championship he earned was taken away from him by his own tribal chief. No one knows why Fatu was angry and only time can tell us the full story.
