Should Tonga Loa really take a page from Nia Jax's playbook to silence his critics?

Tonga Loa is probably the only Bloodline 2.0 member who has been botching spots during promos ever since his debut. While some fans find it extremely entertaining, others can’t take him seriously and continue to criticize him online. Such a place in the internet wrestling community can mess up your mental health.

A WWE legend has entered the scene and has an idea about what Loa should do instead. According to Mark Henry, Nia Jax is somebody who should serve as an inspiration for the new Tag Team Champion on SmackDown.

There was a time when Nia Jax was also constantly under fire among the internet wrestling community. This was because of the botches that she engaged in during her matches. She was a dangerous person to be in the ring with. She eventually improved upon her in-ring and mic skills. Now, Queen Nia Jax is ruling the women’s division as a champion.

According to Mark Henry on the Busted Open Podcast, Loa should pull off something similar. “When you make the mistakes like that, which he made mistakes like that before. And it gets to the point where people don’t have faith. The fans don’t have faith in you. Like you got to do for lack of a better term, you got to do what Nia Jax did,” said the WWE legend.

Notably, Mark Henry doesn’t know for sure how the WWE Women’s Champion brought about all this change in herself. Where she had trained to improve remains a mystery. But, he believes that if Loa followed in her footsteps, he may be over to restore the fanbase’s faith in him. The latest botch became another issue for the wrestler who has potential, make no mistake about it.

The latest Tonga Loa botch

On Friday Night SmackDown 08/23, the Bloodline 2.0 leader crowned Tonga Loa, the new tag team champion along with his sibling, Tama Tonga. The two immediately went on to have a match against The Street Profits in the arena. They couldn’t wait till another week, so we saw The Rogue Bloodline defending its title. The defense was successful thanks to the classic case of intervention during matches the Anoa’i family stable is popular for. However, this victory didn’t come without a botch. While some of you may not have noticed it the first time around, we are here to show you what you missed.

The Tongan wrestlers were standing outside the ring. This is when one member of The Street Profits got down and came running to bash Tama Tonga. It seems like the original spot was intended to make the MFT and his sibling fall into the barricade together. The situation drastically changed when Tonga collided with and crashed into Loa. The latter could not take the fall further and crashed before the barricade, botching the potentially impactful spot. Although his performance in the rest of the match was better than what he had been doing, Henry thinks that training harder and taking some time off might help fans change their perspective.

No change happens overnight and we can already see the wrestling legend’s son improving. Hopefully, fans will restore their faith in Tonga Loa again.
