Retribution is not enjoying its run on Monday Night Raw. The faction was buried by The Fiend and were sent packing on multiple occasions by the Hurt Business. However, the leader of Retribution, Ali, took to Twitter to send a warning to all those disregarding Retribution as a serious threat.
Ali promises redemption for Retribution
Tomorrow on #WWERAW I turn this ship around.
But I don’t want you to change. I want you to continue to ignore the warning. I want you to continue having no faith in us.
After all, “having no faith in us” is what made us in the first place.#RETRIBUTION pic.twitter.com/IO6rdnaVUX

Ali was revealed as the leader of Retribution three weeks ago. Since then, they have lost three consecutive matches at the hands of Bobby Lashley and the Hurt Business.
Slapjack got dominated by Bobby Lashley in Retribution’s first ever PPV match. After that, Retribution hit the ring to take out the US Champion but were chased away by the rest of the Hurt Business.
In the tweet, Ali has promised to turn the ship, that is Retribution’s WWE stint around. The former Cruiserweight roster member is one of the most charismatic wrestlers in the world.
Appointing him as the leader of the faction shows the confidence WWE have in his abilities. However, in these three weeks, WWE has managed to make the faction look incredibly week.
“I don’t want you to change. I want you to continue to ignore the warning. We want you to continue having no faith in us,” said Ali.
The recognition of their failing WWE run adds a sense of reality to the faction’s portrayal on Raw. Retribution are acknowledged as nothing but menaces to a smooth running show. In fact, they have been dismissed by the WWE Universe as actual threats.
The faction is currently standing on shaky ground
Ali considers the ignorance from WWE as the reason behind the faction’s establishment.
“After all, “having no faith in us” is what made us in the first place,” said Ali. Retribution began as a group set to disrupt the corrupt practices in the WWE. They interrupted matches, attacked wrestlers, hijacked shows and destroyed equipment, from the ring ropes to production trucks.

The sea looks rough and choppy for the ship of Retribution. Mustafa Ali has become the captain of that ship only recently. However, it isn’t too late for him to steady the ship.
Unfortunately, if they maintain their current course, the ship is heading for doom. If steadied, Ali and his band of miscreants could be heading for Shield-esque levels of greatness.
