There’s no doubt that Dwayne Johnson seems to have mastered the art of entering a completely unrelated profession and dominating it to the point that one would think twice before competing with him. Hollywood, the XFL, and the tequila Business are a few of many examples of when The People’s Champion emerged from nothing and established himself as the top player in the industry.

Recently, from the toe wrestling industry, Johnson got called out for a challenge to come and compete with its champion. Interestingly, this industry was so alien to him that he only got to know a few weeks ago when he was asked about choosing toe wrestling or WrestleMania.

The toe wrestling champion challenged Dwayne Johnson to a toe-to-toe battle

Many fans know that The Rock is one of the greatest superstars to have ever entered a ring and that he is descended from a legendary pro wrestling family. However, he was in no way near the toe wrestling industry.

In one interview, DJ was asked if he knew about the toe wrestling industry. He had no idea what that meant. However, the interviewer informed him about the toe wrestling business, leaving him flabbergasted, as you can see in the video below.

Subsequently, he was asked which one he would choose between toe-wrestling or WrestleMania. The People’s Champion jokingly replied, “We know it has to be toe wrestling, I need to become the toe wrestling champion.”

Meanwhile, the current world champion of toe-wrestling, Ben Woodroffe, is ready to grant The Rock’s desire since he openly challenged him. Talking to Express and Star, Woodroffe stated, “He said he would come out of retirement to compete, so I would like to call him out. It is a worldwide sport, with competitions in China, Pakistan, and India.”

“It is not as well-known as football. But it is part of the eccentricity of Great Britain and gives anybody a chance to become a world champion. I would welcome the opportunity to go toe to toe with The Rock. [H/T: Express And Star]”

However, Woodroffe is a legend in toe tag team wrestling and even defeated the most decorated champion in the sport, Alan “Nasty” Nash.

But, The Great One already has a busy schedule and was only joking with Capital’s interviewer. So, it seems quite improbable he would compete in toe wrestling instead of pro wrestling.
