2024 has seen many big names in the WWE have their contracts come to an end. Many of these stars have yet to re-sign, prompting rumors and speculation regarding their next move. The names include Becky Lynch, Chad Gable, Natalya, and many more. The most recent news concerns the veteran icon and two-time Women’s Champion Natalya.

While she’s had a great run on NXT and the main roster as a mentor for the new talent, her recent match on WWE RAW saw a massive hint at her next move as her WWE contract ends. On Monday Night RAW, Natty faced debutant Kiana James. While the fans enjoyed the back-and-forth between both women, James emerged victorious.

While putting over the new member of the RAW roster is normal, this would be added to the ever-growing list of losses Natty has had. She lost the Queen of the Ring tournament in the first round to Iyo Sky. Before that, she lost to Lola Vice at NXT Underground.

After losing her match to a debuting Kiana James, she said, “Enough is enough, and it’s time for a change.” While hardcore fans loved the Owen Hart callback with this line, it fueled speculation that she may be jumping ship. Sean Ross Sapp posted an image of Lucha Underground under his post about what she said.

However, during the Fightful Wrestling With Sean Ross Sapp livestream after the show, he did clarify it. He mentioned how the show was dissolved in 2018 and that his post was a joke. While hardcore fans did know he was joking about it, the ones unfamiliar with Lucha Underground were not. Sapp may have cleared the air, but the WWE Universe loves connecting dots, and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. The connection was with Tony Khan.

During his livestream on May 9, 2024, Sapp did mention that Khan may have plans to buy the Lucha Underground video library. This would give AEW the whole four seasons of the show that once featured many of its top stars. The WWE Universe speculated that this could be Sapp’s cryptic way of hinting Natty may have plans to move to AEW.

While nothing is confirmed, Natty’s contract with the WWE is ending. No reports have emerged regarding her re-signing. Many fans have speculated that her words indicate a heel turn rather than a move to a different promotion. What do you think? Will Natty leave the WWE? Tell us in the comments below.
