Uncle Howdy returned to WWE on Monday Night Raw 06/17 after several teasers that started a week after WrestleMania XL. The return of the Wyatt 6 excited many fans in the arena because of the built-up anticipation but it wasn’t as perfect as a former WWE star would have wanted it to be.
During a recent podcast episode, Bully Ray pointed out one flaw that he noticed during the closing segment on the last Monday Night Raw. This is when he also mentioned what he expected from the promo in Corpus Christi.
Should Uncle Howdy have stayed silent?

The segment on the last Raw episode ended with the promotion revealing five of the Wyatt 6 one by one and Uncle Howdy was last to be revealed. He slowly walked out backstage, gathering all the entities under his stead in the process before picking up the lamp and shouting, “We’re here.” The Stamford-based company didn’t alter Bo Dallas’ voice as he delivered the closing dialogue. This is what bothered Bully Ray. The former wrestler said on the Busted Open Podcast, “I’m watching all of these characters and then I hear the voice of what sounded like a normal person. So that kind of threw me off just a little bit.”
The pro wrestling veteran didn’t wish for Uncle Howdy to be quiet necessarily. However, he may have wished for the promotion to have changed his voice somehow. This is because the human voice brought forward by a supernatural entity probably broke the immersion for him. Especially after they had done a vicious deed by committing a massacre. Nevertheless, the Stamford-based promotion can finalize the details on Uncle Howdy & Co’s presentation when they target their first victim.

Even though the stable has only just arrived in the promotion, we are already seeing speculations regarding its first victim.
Who will be Uncle Howdy’s first rival?
It has been so long since his last run in WWE that it would be pointless to see Uncle Howdy going after a former rival. So, it is possible that we would see the promotion bringing in a new feud for the Wyatt 6 to keep the fans entertained. Although all the members could ultimately start feuding with different wrestlers, Dave Meltzer thinks that WWE has hinted at the first target already.

During the Wrestling Observer Radio after Monday Night Raw, the industry insider claimed that Jey Uso being in the arena when the Wyatt 6 showed up wasn’t a coincidence. The main event could have been assigned to any card that night and someone else may also have been granted the honor of being victorious in Corpus Christi. However, WWE may have placed Jey Uso on the card on purpose, to foreshadow his potential upcoming feud against Uncle Howdy.
Do you think WWE will change Uncle Howdy’s voice moving forward?
