Three Years After Aligning With Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman Reveals the Only Reason He Will Leave The Bloodline

Every leader needs a wise counselor. We can see an example of this in the case of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Serving as Wiseman to the Tribal Chief, Heyman has been with Reigns for almost three years now. Heyman has previously managed big names such as CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Curtis Axel, etc. But since his alignment with Reigns, he said that he would leave his side on only one condition.

Heyman’s condition to leave The Bloodline

Paul Heyman’s name is now almost synonymous with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Discussing his relationship with Roman Reigns, he expressed how grateful he is to be working alongside Reigns. “I am attached to the hip of the undisputed, uncontroverted number one superstar in not only WWE but in all sports entertainment and I am working with him.”, he said.

Further on he talked about the business and collaborative efforts Heyman is doing alongside Roman Reigns.  “I assure you there’s much behind the scenes behind the camera as much as I do on camera. This is a legit professional collaborative effort”. Heyman emphasized the possibility that big things are on the way for Roam Reigns.

However, he is not ready to leave his side anytime soon. “I only want this gig as long as I am the man for it, or woman for it, or whatever or human being for it. As long as I am the best for it. If someone comes along that will serve Roman Reigns better, serve the character Roman Reigns better, serve the marketing of Roman Reigns better, serve the IP of Roman Reigns better, serve WWE better in this capacity I want them to have this gig” he said.

He concluded by saying that he doesn’t want to be the second best when it comes to working with The Tribal Chief. Fans have witnessed this collaborative progress since Heyman started managing Roman Reigns.

The start of the collaboration between Reigns and Heyman have reaped massive rewards

In 2020, Paul Heyman was removed from his role as the executive director of WWE’s creative team. As Reigns had just come back from his illness, he had a long way to go. He saw that Reigns had the potential to be a big star. Grabbing this opportunity, he joined hands with Roman Reigns and became his manager in 2020.

With Heyman by his side, Reigns became one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling. Along with Heyman, Roman Reigns also established his wrestling stable The Bloodline which is one of the most fearsome groups in the business. Even wrestlers from rival promotions have paid their respect to the displays of the revered faction.
