Nick Aldis has been a thorn in the Bloodline’s side for quite a while now. So much so that the ‘Tribal Chief’ felt the need to share some unflattering words about the General Manager of SmackDown, saying that he has to “fix him” in a TikTok video he posted of himself. Aldis responded in kind, stating that Roman Reigns should focus himself on the upcoming Royal Rumble instead.
But what can be the WWE’s motive behind making Nick Aldis such a menace for the Bloodline? Are they looking to build up a feud between Reigns and Aldis? If not, here are a few reasons why they should.

Before being made the General Manager of SmackDown, Nick Aldis had been a seasoned wrestler who had been a part of major promotions like TNA and the NWA. And he wasn’t just any pro wrestler, as he even won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Considering that he is still in prime shape and just 37 years old, the English professional wrestler surely has the experience to be a top draw for the WWE. it would be interesting to witness the General Manager face the ‘Tribal Chief’ in-ring. Furthermore, Nick Aldis has set him self up perfectly as an antagonist to Roman Reigns’ group.
The biggest boulder in the bloodline’s path
Aldis has been throwing a wrench in the Bloodline’s plans lately. Whether it be turning a single’s title defense for Reigns into a fatal 4-way against LA Knight, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton, or the idea to even get the Universal title vacated if the ‘Tribal Chief’ refused to sign the contract, the SmackDown General Manager has been a real problem maker for the Samoan stable.
And one way for Reigns to stop all this is to get into a ring with the English pro wrestler and be the last man standing, sending a message of dominance that only one can rule the blue brand, and it’s him.

Paul Heyman shares Roman Reigns’ feelings toward Aldis
In a recently uploaded Instagram story, Paul Heyman re-shared a post by Nick Aldis where the on-screen GM uploaded a still from their last meetup on SmackDown with the caption, “It was cold in Lincoln Nebraska, but things got a little heated with Mr. Heyman… again.”
While re-sharing the post on his Instagram story, Heyman revealed what he felt about Aldis as he wrote, “Nick Aldis pissed me off.” Well, there’s no mincing words for the devil’s advocate. And if things continue going this way, it won’t be long before either Paul Heyman or the ‘Tribal Chief’ pitches an idea for Aldis and him to square off.
