WWE’s Survivor Series is the next PLE offering from WWE. Not much has been revealed about the upcoming PLE. However, so far we know that the theme for this year is going to be ‘WarGames’. Moreover, we also have a sneak peek into one of the matches that is going to take place at the PLE. If you haven’t already guessed it, the match that we are talking about is the one involving The Judgment Day and a group led by Cody Rhodes.

For now, the most we know is that The Judgment Day will go up against Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn. Out of all these stars, Rhodes and Rollins being on the same side can prove detrimental to the team.

So far, WWE has announced one match to fit its ‘WarGames’ theme. While it is expected that all four of the given team members will efficiently work together to defeat the heel faction, Rollins and Rhodes may have trouble working together.

For starters, we must not forget that Cody Rhodes has had a real-life feud with Seth Rollins. Apart from their on-screen rivalry, when Rhodes returned to WWE after serving his time in AEW, he and The Visionary had a long-running feud. However, even besides what was going on in the ring, they were not fans of each other. While there was respect, they also talked about not being friends with each other. So WWE, could play into that story and maybe we get a Rollins turn at Survivor Series.

This also leads us to our second point. The unresolved tension between the two former rivals can lead to leadership disagreements. Although the leader of the group hasn’t yet been revealed, Rhodes and Rollins’ dominant nature may put them as direct competitors for the position of power.

Lastly, both of these stars and their competitive egos can also prove to be problematic in a war against the heel faction.

Let’s take a quick flashback at their in-ring rivalry to see if the two wrestlers are truly fit to become teammates.

Are Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins a good fit together?

Out of many options, WWE hand-picked The American Nightmare to be on the same team as the former Shield member. So, the promotion clearly has something planned. Either the two would start feuding again or would forget their past differences. It is to be noted that Rollins was one of the first wrestlers who started feuding with AEW’s ex-EVP.

Moreover, it is possible that Rollins is still not over losing all three matches to Rhodes last year.

So, fans, are in for a possible rollercoaster with both of these wrestlers on the same team for WarGames later this month.
