WWE has spun several stories with Bloodline over the previous few years, and it appears that the faction’s storytelling momentum is far from gone. As we all know, Solo Sikoa is now leading the Bloodline and considers himself The Head of The Table. That is until Roman Reigns returns from his hiatus. So far, the assumption has been that when Reigns returns, Sikoa could stab him in the back.

This will end in a big feud between The Enforcer and Reigns, which might be the direction WWE is going. Many fans have speculated about the match, which could take place shortly. SummerSlam has been mooted as a potential date and venue for the impending clash. But why those specific dates? We have figured out three reasons why.

1. Solo Sikoa is already involved in a program at the moment-Wrestlers must be free for a feud to take place. This implies that they should not participate in any other feuds or any other program. Solo Sikoa is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Cody Rhodes, thus he cannot face Roman Reigns until he has resolved his differences with Rhodes. If he manages to take the title off The American Nightmare, he will have greater impetus in suppressing Reigns’ authority over the stable.

2. Roman Reigns has a busy Hollywood schedule ahead of him- As previously said, wrestlers must be free to engage in a feud, and Roman Reigns has a lengthy list of Hollywood projects. This means he is now unavailable. The Tribal Chief is reported to make his comeback to the promotion around the time of SummerSlam, which will be the perfect time for this match.

WWE is also in dire need of star power to fill up the biggest event of the Summer as they could enlist the help of Roman Reigns.

3. WWE needs big stars for Summerslam- WWE currently does not have many superstars planned for Summerslam. CM Punk is injured, Brock Lesnar is not present, The Rock has returned to Hollywood, and so on. Major stars have not been seen in WWE recently, hence their second-largest Premium Live Event, SummerSlam, will be lacking in star power.

SummerSlam is regarded as the largest celebration of the summer, and Roman Reigns’ return to WWE will provide a significant boost to the PLE’s wrestling program, which is much needed. Although these are only guesses, WWE might have this major match because this feud has a tremendous plot supporting it from the back. Reigns is expected to be returning to WWE shortly. WWE may have everything perfectly lined up for the anticipated return, and the timing cannot be better than this. Solo Sikoa and Reigns’ feud is expected to be stretched even farther in the future, although it will most likely start at SummerSlam.
