Fans are super excited for SmackDown tonight as Roman Reigns and LA Knight will finally be signing the contract for their title fight at Crown Jewel. This might very well signal the beginning of a new era in the WWE. The whole WWE universe will be rooting heavily for Knight to win the championship in the biggest-ever match of his career.

But speaking about tonight, here are 3 ways in which the contract signing could end on SmackDown.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight brawling with each other

Two weeks ago, The Tribal Chief brutally attacked LA Knight with a Spear after he won against Solo Sikoa. The next week on SmackDown, Knight wanted to seek revenge from Reigns for that sneak attack but, unfortunately, he was not present. But he will be present for the contract signing tonight on SmackDown. This might lead to a heated confrontation which might eventually turn into a full-on brawl in the ring.

Yes, The Bloodline has an advantage with the numbers game. But we shouldn’t forget that LA Knight single-handedly destroyed Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso before signing the contract for his tag team match with John Cena at Fastlane.

In addition, LA Knight just hates Roman Reigns’ guts and he will definitely not lose any opportunity for a beatdown tonight.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight showing each other mutual respect

This is one side of The Tribal Chief that the WWE universe really loves. Reigns always gives respect where it is due. Like he did with Jey Uso during the contract signing of their match at SummerSlam. As soon as Jey Uso tore the contract and said that it was Tribal Combat, Reigns put on a serious demeanor and respectfully shook hands with Jey Uso.

But then again, that’s Jey Uso, someone with whom Reigns has grown up with. So he has a different equation with him as a family member. When it comes to Knight, Reigns purely sees him as a wrestling professional.

The last time the two came face to face, Reigns admitted that he was proud of what Knight had achieved with the audience. But he was also quick to bring Knight down by saying, “Who the hell you think you are standing in my ring right now?”. That said, Reigns has been very unpredictable off late, so we might actually just see Reigns giving Knight his due respect during the contract signing.

John Cena coming to LA Knight’s aid, setting up Cena vs Sikoa at Crown Jewel

Last week on SmackDown, John Cena hinted at his retirement due to a “harsh truth” he learned of just before the start of the show. Basically, it’s been 2000+ days since Cena last won a solo match in the WWE. And this made The GOAT very disheartened. But he was also charged up to change those numbers and asked for anyone to come face his wrath. This led to Solo Sikoa coming out to the ring, thus accepting Cena’s invitation for a match.

Now during the contract signing tonight, Roman Reigns will be accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso as always. And we know very well what happens whenever Jimmy Uso is around, so Sikoa and Jimmy Uso might gang up on Knight during the contract signing. This might lead to Cena coming out to assist Knight, just like he came to his rescue a month ago before Fastlane. There might even be a possibility that Jey Uso might pop up again to even out the numbers. Thus setting up a six-man tag team match for maybe the Survivor Series.
