Roman Reigns, who has been missing from action for weeks now, has been scheduled to come back to WWE programming later this month. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will also be defending his belt at Crown Jewel, as per reports. The said PLE will take place on November 4 in Riyad, the Saudi capital.

But who will Reigns defend his gold against? And will any oen take the title off him? Here are three names who could stop the juggernaut.

Several have tried but failed to take the belts off of Reigns, as he has been able to extend his title run over 1,160 days. However, Crown Jewel might see Reigns face his toughest challenge yet. But who would challenge the Head of the Table?

AJ Styles- The 46-year-old might be a surprising choice for many fans, but there’s a good reason why these two would butt heads. While Reigns has been absent, his family- those who still remain in The Bloodline- has ambushed the two-time WWE Champion backstage recently. Once he’s back, The Phenomenal One could exact revenge on The Tribal Chief.

LA Knight- Forty-year-old LA Knight is on cloud nine at the moment. He enjoys a fan connection that most wrestlers dream of while very few achieve. Surprisingly, Knight hasn’t won anything significant in the promotion that justifies the craze. This has forced Triple H and his creative team to plan a huge push for the SmackDown star. That culminated in a tag team match with John Cena against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at Fastlane on October 7.

But what better way to unleash the two major superstars and probably have Knight win? Surely the Yeah chants are going to grow louder if that happens.

John Cena– Could the Greatest of All Time break Ric Flair’s record and win the 17th world title in Saudi Arabia? Cena has been advertised for the event in the Middle East, so he’s likely to be one of the main draws in the shows. With Cena being present, WWE could have him fight the current champion, as this is likely to be Cena’s last run before he gets busy with Hollywood again.

Is this Cena’s last big run in the WWE?

John Cena made his return to SmackDown a few weeks ago, as Hollywood was in a state of impasse brought on by the writers and actors’ strike. Part of the protests have been lifted as writers have called it off following a deal. However, actors are still at it, but are likely to follow suit in the future.

With the studios stalling projects, Cena returned to the squared circle to enthrall the WWE Universe and in the process helped the promotion. Since his return, SmackDown has recorded good numbers and crowd presence.

Once normalcy is restored in Hollywood, Cena, who has had over five films released this year, is expected to get busy with his acting job. As per reports, he’s now awaiting the releases of his upcoming movies- Argylle, Grand Death Lotto, Heads of State, and Ricky Stanicky.

So, a parting gift from the promotion might be on the cards. But it’s also unlikely that the WWE will invest in a part-timer and dethrone one of its greatest champions ever in that fashion.
