WWE Superstar Roman Reigns was the top champion for nearly four years and was instrumental in WrestleMania XL, reaching his ninth main event match. However, Cody Rhodes ended his historical reign of the WWE Undisputed Championship. Since then, Reigns’ future has been uncertain. With the expectation that he will be absent from WWE television programming.
In addition, speculation about his return has increased as WWE gears up for what promises to be its biggest event of the summer, WWE SummerSlam. The rumors intensified last week when “The Tribal Chief” was spotted training with bodybuilder and actor Kai Greene. So what’s next for the Reigns once he returns? It seems like the WWE has it all planned out. As he might go face-to-face against the man who just took over his bloodline, Solo Sikoa. How do we know that? Well, the signs are all over the place.

In the absence of the Tribal Chief, the Tribal heir has taken over the reins of the Bloodline in place of Roman Reigns. He took drastic steps, such as kicking out Jimmy Uso in favor of the entry of two other family members (though not blood relatives): Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Haku’s sons, formerly known as the Guerrillas of Destiny. Ever since, Sikoa has been acting as if he has completely replaced the Tribal Chief and has been running the Bloodline the way he wants to, rather than how Roman Reigns would run it. And now, it’s not just the role of the Tribal Chief that Sikoa has taken away from Reigns. He has also stolen the mannerisms and moves of the Big Dog.
Sikoa borrows Roman Reigns’ spear
Spear is an iconic finisher that is used by several WWE superstars, present and past. From Goldberg, Rhyno, and Edge to Jimmy Uso, the move has always been a go-to move for top stars. However, the moment Roman Reigns started using it, WWE knew that they had to start preserving it.
As Reigns’ spear has been a major part of his character, as it shows his sheer brutality in the way he delivers it. On the other hand, Solo Sikoa has always used the Samoan Spike as his finisher. However, Sikoa, too, has started using the spear ever since his Roman Reigns took a break from the WWE.
The Shield’s triple bomb makes a return
The spear isn’t the only move stolen by the Tribal heir. He, along with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, have started using the triple power bomb to destroy their opponents. The move was made famous by the original Tribal Chief back when he was a part of the Shield during his early run. And now it seems like Sikoa wants the chief to share his arsenal with him.

However, it seems like Sikoa is not just stealing the moves; he wants to steal the entire aura of the Tribal Chief. Replace him not just in the faction, but make him irrelevant in the roster by being the next Roman Reigns. And it can be proven by the fact that Sikoa has even started doing the same ‘tongue out’ gesture that is done by the Tribal Chief.

With Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline wreaking havoc, the WWE would surely book Roman Reigns as a babyface now. And it seems like he won’t just fight to get back his faction but also to stop Sikoa from pulling off this identity theft of sorts. The story is rumored to be set ahead of the Survivor Series, where the new Bloodline will supposedly face off against the old one, with the Uso brothers being a part of it. So it would be interesting to see how the WWE books it. What do you think? Is Sikoa intentionally doing this? Let us know in the comments.
