Crown Jewel is just six days aways and fans just can’t wait for all the action. The main event is obviously the coveted title match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight. But another match that fans are equally excited about is the match between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. But in the last few weeks, McIntyre has given a few hints that he is ready to show off his negative side to the fans.
Here are three hints that McIntyre will join The Judgment Day soon to solidify his heel status.
Involvement with Rhea Ripley

As a major part of The Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley is constantly trying to recruit new manpower to strengthen the already dominant faction. Post her unsuccessful attempt to lure in Jey Uso, Ripley tried her luck with Seth Rollins but to no avail. As a result, he will now have to face the wrath of The Judgment Day at the hands of JD McDonagh tonight on RAW.
Now Ripley has set her sights on ‘The Scottish Warrior’ Drew McIntyre. Last week on RAW, McIntyre was having a match with Sami Zayn. And just as Zayn was about to deliver his Helluva Kick, Ripley started distracting him. This gave McIntyre an opportunity to deliver a thunderous Claymore and seal the win for that night.
But if this gift is enough to gain McIntyre’s loyalty, we will only have to wait and watch.
Reluctance to save Jey Uso from The Judgment Day beatdown on Raw
This happened in September on RAW. Jey Uso had to give an answer to The Judgment Day if he was in or out. The same night he had a match with Drew McIntyre as the main event. The Judgment Day was present ringside to provide assistance to Jey Uso during the match. But Jey Uso had already made up his mind and ended up super-kicking all the members of The Judgment Day except Ripley.
But this distraction was enough for McIntyre to deliver his Claymore and win the match. Obviously, The Judgment Day was not going to take that insult lying down and so they started attacking Uso right after the match. McIntyre has always been the good guy and, in an ideal case, he would have helped Jey Uso. He even waited for a few moments contemplating whether he should help him or not. But this time around, he just decided to walk away and turn a deaf ear to Jey Uso’s brutal 3-1 beatdown. Thus implying that he is in agreement with The Judgment Day’s antics.
Inching towards a potential heel turn
In September on RAW, even The New Day pointed out that Drew McIntyre has not been the same anymore. During a segment on RAW, The New Day confronted McIntyre for not helping Jey Uso when he was getting mercilessly thrashed by The Judgment Day. That’s when McIntyre lost it and made it clear that he was done with helping people when it was not his business.

Also what should be noted is McIntyre’s WWE contract is set to expire in early 2024. And if he does decide to exit the WWE, then McIntyre turning heel would be a perfect exit strategy. And what better way to turn heel than to join The Judgment Day who is waiting with open arms to accept him? Will The Judgment Day interfere during McIntyre’s title match at Crown Jewel and help him in winning the title as a joining gift? We will only have to wait and watch.
