Cody Rhodes had one of the greatest moments at Hell in a Cell on Sunday. The former TNT Champion entered the steel structure with a torn pec and had a match that went on for over 20 minutes.
Rhodes won the match and hence ended his feud with Seth Freakin’ Rollins. With this victory, The American Nightmare is 3-0 in the trilogy matches since WrestleMania.

Cody Rhodes will have his torn pec surgery on Thursday. Furthermore, he will be out of action for almost six months for his recovery.
Ric Flair shares his concerns about Cody Rhodes
Ric Flair on his podcast To Be The Man #7, recently discussed the injury of Cody Rhodes. Flair revealed he would have never fought with the injury back in his day. Also, he shared concerns about the serious nature of torn pec injury Rhodes currently is suffering from.
Flair said, “Let’s say those things are very delicate. That tissue in there takes a long time to heal. And you can’t rush it. I mean, you’ve got to actually follow the doctor’s orders. I’m sure he’s having it done in Birmingham.”
He added, “Then those guys know what they’re doing. Anybody was associated with Dr. Andrews will, but you’ve just got a really, I know guys that have gone down and stayed in Birmingham for a period of time.”
The Nature Boy shared where Cody Rhodes could have rehabilitation. A torn pec injury has a slow recovery rate, and that is the reason Flair said listening to the doctors is the best thing in this situation. Flair recalled when Triple H tore his quads and had the best treatment to recover.

Ric Flair claimed that it’s not like just going to the gym and starting doing extensions or bench presses. Rhodes needs to be really micro-managed to heal for injury in the time.
Ric Flair is eying a big win for Rhodes at Royal Rumble
Ahead of the conversation about Cody Rhodes’ injury, Conrad Thompson and Ric Flair discussed his return. Thompson asked him whether fans should look forward to Royal Rumble next year. Flair agreed to it, saying, “Absolutely. Okay. If that’s the timeframe.”
There were rumors of Rhodes winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and cash-in it for the WWE Title at some point. However, it is not possible now and Royal Rumble will be the best time for the return of Cody Rhodes.
