WWE is a company that is being monitored by everyone right now. The news outlets, the big business executives, the fans, and obviously the general pop culture audience. Being such a big entity with a varied history, WWE has amassed a standing in the minds of the public. To see it go to anyone other than Vince McMahon would be a travesty. But could AEW CEO, Tony Khan, save this travesty or would he lead it down the dumpster?
Only time will tell what the new owner ends up doing to the company. But until then, all we can do is speculate about who is the one buying it in the first place, and Tony has just confirmed yet not confirmed that he might be in the race to buy the company.

While talking about the rumors on The Maggie and Perloff show, Khan said, “I am interested in the news that there is potentially a sales process and certainly. I think we’ve shown, when there are acquisitions and transactions, we’re capable of making the big purchases. Whether my dad steps up with the Jaguars or Fulham FC in the Premier League and he’s done such a great job building up the club and putting resources into it and we’re playing football at a high level.”

Khan went on to say that even when he purchased Ring of Honor, that’s a very different thing than WWE. But Ring of Honor is a company with 20 years of history. And he really has enjoyed running it.
” We’ve shown that we’re at all-time highs in terms of every business metric since we relaunched it and it’s only going to get better,” Khan added. This is the vaguest answer that Tony could have projected into the media. This way, not only does Tony ensure that his name is still being circled around, but he can also back out from the news whenever he wants to.
Fans make their stance about Tony acquiring WWE known
When rumors of Tony Khan being in the race leaked out, fans had a lot of different ideas floating on the internet. But now that he has confirmed his intent, fans have started speculating once again.
I’m a WWE fan and i have nothing against TK but i hate the idea of him buying WWE. As seen for years in WWE a monopoly is never good for the product or the fans. I don’t understand why some of y’all want this so badly.

Just cause you can doesn't mean you should, look at his roster as a prime example. Taking shots aside, this would be bad cause it'd be another monopoly on the wrestling industry, and everyone hated when WWE basically did it, so it wouldn't be smart on the flip side

There is a greater chance of their being a wwe/aew forbidden door ppv this year than this happen.
