It is safe to say that Logan Paul is not the favorite person of the WWE Universe. His appearances in WWE have not gained the reaction from fans, one would think. For most of his appearances with Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, The Miz, and John Morrison, the WWE Universe booed Paul.
This is very shocking, as most of the above-mentioned names were playing heel at the time. Moreover, Logan Paul has a significant following on YouTube. Additionally, he is also a boxer.
However, it seems like Logan Paul cannot catch a break with the WWE fans. He has himself admitted that he thinks they hate him. Therefore, it does not come as much of a surprise that the WWE Universe went after him after rumors of him being The Miz’s mystery partner broke out.

“During the Elimination Chamber PPV, The Miz did a backstage promo stating that he was calling for someone to be his partner against Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The word backstage at the show is that the current plan is for the partner to be Logan Paul, potentially for WrestleMania.”

Fan reactions to Logan Paul at WrestleMania 38

WWE’s use of celebrities
Logan Paul is by no means the first celebrity to enter the squared circle. The difference is that the WWE Universe has given mixed reactions to WWE pushing celebrities. It depends on the celebrity and the angle WWE puts them in. One reason why Logan Paul could be getting booed is because of the way he is booked.

WWE promotes him as a YouTube sensation and a skilled boxer. He definitely is a huge Youtuber, but his boxing stats are not that ideal to make the WWE fans see him as a fighter. Moreover, wrestlers in WWE work tirelessly all year to get a spot at the grandest stage of them all, and some still get left out.

Hence, giving a big WrestleMania spot to a celebrity instead of a much deserving wrestler might not sit well with the fans. To Logan Paul’s credit, he has taken the WWE fans’ reaction with good sportsmanship and only time will tell if he is involved at WrestleMania.
