The Hulkster is one of the happiest men on earth right now as he just got married to his sweetheart Sky Daily. But another time that Hogan was really happy was in the 80s and early 90s. That’s when Hogan was at the prime of his wrestling fame. WWE was enveloped by Hulkamania. Fans would do anything and everything just to get an autograph of Hulk Hogan.

Among these fans were also kids who were suffering from serious diseases. That is why the Make-A-Wish Foundation came into existence. To help make the wishes of such children into a reality.

But when the foundation approached Hogan for the first time, he found it very weird. On his recent appearance on the Chris Van Vliet podcast, Hogan narrated the entire episode. He said, “I had these make-a-wish kids coming to me. ‘Okay, what’s this all about? This is weird, I’m not used to this’. And then as the years went by, I would make three, four, five make-a-wish kids’ nights, I got used to it, I started appreciating it.”

And even today, Hogan continues to fulfill the wishes of these innocent kids. He added, “And then the third phase was the kids were still coming like when i went to the 30th anniversary RAW, they had some make a wish kids and thank God it’s still happening.”

Hogan was one of WWE’s leading stars when it came to working with Make-A-Wish back in the day.
