After weeks of trouble brewing in The Bloodline, the deciding moment did come at the Royal Rumble event. The Honorary Uce Sami Zayn attacked the leader of the faction Roman Reigns with a steel chair. The latter had just beaten his longtime friend Kevin Owens for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship. And was orchestrating a brutal beat down when the said incident took place. Zayn’s recent social media activity strongly suggests that he has moved on from the group.
His time with the notorious group was quite entertaining, to say the least. Their segments consistently brought the masses to shows and kept them glued to the television. But like everything in life, the Canadian’s time with the faction came to an end. And rather painfully, in his case. A change in Zayn’s profile picture on Twitter gives the impression that he is embarking on a solo path.
In the image, he can be seen sporting new merchandise. The Uso portion of his T-shirt has been replaced by Zayn signifying his exit from The Bloodline. The former NXT champion is gearing up for a much-hyped-up match against The Tribal chief at the upcoming Elimination Chamber. He has emerged as a fan favorite in recent times owing to his stellar antics during his time with the group.

The Head of The Table has certainly emerged as one of the best champions in history. With a stay at the top that has lasted more than 800 days, he has taken down some of the very best in the business. Wrestler-turned-actor John Cena and Hall of Famer Edge are amongst some of his top victims. While Zayn has certainly earned his opportunity, it will be a herculean task to beat Reigns.
Cody Rhodes awaits the winner
Not that the winner of the match will have much time to celebrate. The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes would be breathing down the neck of the eventual winner. His victorious return in the Royal Rumble match last month is fresh in many minds. A main event at WrestleMania 39 beckons for Rhodes.
