Wrestlers following long-running old trends is something that fans like to see. Rhea Ripley recently chipped in on a tradition that has been going on among Monday Night Raw wrestlers for a long time now. This trend is related to how wrestlers merge their names with the red brand. Not only does it sound creative, but it is also fun to see the trend still going on after years.

Ripley’s latest tweet shows us that Mami is having fun being the WWE Women’s Champion. Recently, she used her name to attach it to ‘Raw’ and made herself sound much more intimidating while still being creative. In this process, she involuntarily joined other wrestlers who have also used this trend.

The Eradicator has been feuding with a number of superstars in order to protect her title as the Women’s Champion. Her latest match was against Candice LeRae. Towards the end of the match, Ripley showed LeRae how bad it is to eye her title. Despite the 37-year-old’s valiant efforts, Ripley caught her in a ‘prism trap’. This forced her opponent to tap out and abandon her dream of conquering the title that night.

To celebrate her victory, The Eradicator took to Twitter and uploaded perhaps her favorite still from the face-off. She wrote the caption, “This is what DOMINANCE looks like. This is MY show! Welcome to Monday night MAMI! Stay mad you incompetent marks.”

In a fit of confidence, she replaced ‘Raw’ with her nickname. This trend of wrestlers attaching their names to the 30-year-old brand has been going on for many years. For example, once Seth Rollins said something in a similar fashion by calling it “Monday Night Rollins“. Chris Jericho also once portrayed his confidence regarding his professional presence by claiming, “RAW is Jericho.

Even though Mami is now showing that she is confident about her presence at Monday Night Raw, she was still attacked after the match.

The 26-year-old has been serving pretty much as an invincible champion. Though she has received tough battles in between, she has refused to let go of her title and has retained it since WM 39. So, when she finally faced a threat, fans were excited to see the outcome. Raquel Rodriguez assaulted Ripley in the absence of an official match between them. However, in the process of teaching her a lesson, she confirmed facing her at WWE Payback on September 2nd.
