Many fans bashing “Rock” voiced their opinions on social media. Here are a few of their comments.

“…….so we just doing live action of every animated movie, not just older ones….this came out 7 years ago…..for what? Just let cartoons be cartoons, do u rly need to cash grab everything”

“A fan raised issues with the director saying, No Pasifika director was available out of all our talented people? Interesting”.

“now watch, he’s gonna be Mamoa’s brother”

One of the fans made a hilarious comment saying, “Moana had I had play better by @kevinhart4real”

“This is the first time I’ve disagreed with The Great One! This appears to be more of cash grab, than a legitimate effort to tell a story. The animated film is full of soul & spirit that won’t be easily translated to the live action big screen. Just my 2 cents!”

“Just make it faithful to the source material. That’s all fans really ask from the live action remakes.”

“Have you started doing cartoon roles now?”

Fans cannot ignore the possibilities that it is a money-making strategy looking at the previous collections and audience of the film.

Disney has made remakes of many films and has also converted cartoon films into real motion films. For example, Cinderella. While fans wish for Disney to stop making remakes of their previous films.
