John Cena might have a new target in sight! The WWE’s greatest of all time got mauled by a rising star, who recently completed a year on the main roster. It is likely that Cena will go after his attacker, hoping to avenge the humiliation on the October 6 episode of SmackDown.
The incident took place shortly after Cena reunited with Cody Rhodes, who returned to SmackDown to help out the icon.

Before revealing that, let’s find out how Cena got involved SmackDown tonight. It was LA Knight who took on Jimmy Uso in the main event of the night. But Solo Sikoa had other plans. He attacked Knight, and the bout was called out. But it led to Cena’s arrival, who reached the ring to lend support to his Fastlane partner.
Soon, members of The Judgment Day also arrived and just as they were about to pounce on the duo, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes- who are set to take on Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest at the October 7 PLE, joined Cena and Knight.
What followed was a brutal brawl as the superstars traded punches. In the midst of this melee, Cena and Sikoa had a brief one-on-one moment, where the 30-year-old was able to overpower the 16-time champion.
This is not the first time Sikoa has attacked and neutralized Cena. In fact, it has become a recurring theme in the last few weeks. Given WWE’s history of setting matches, this too looks like a feud that could have a bigger future.
There are rumors already of Cena facing Sikoa in a singles match and putting him over, though no official announcement has been made yet.
Where could John Cena face Solo Sikoa?
It is no surprise that John Cena’s extended run in the WWE- which has seen him have more in-ring actions than the last few years- is due to the strikes in due. But with the agitation being called off and normalcy resuming in Hollywood, it’s just a matter of time before the Leader of Cenation packs his bag and get busy with his other career.
On the other hand, Cena is likely to stick around for another month. While there’s no guarantee, the simple fact that the WWE is promoting him as part of the Crown Jewel PLE- scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on November 4- is a good reason for fans to believe so.

So, Cena is likely to meet the Enforcer of The Bloodline there? They could literally meet on any episode of SmackDown, given the fact that Cena now regularly features on the weekly shows. But, as per conventional wisdom, the former WWE Champion is likely to have a feud a marquee event.
Before Crown Jewel, expect Cena and Sikoa to have multiple encounters, glimpses of which have been seen already. Once the feud is set, it is likely to playout in the Middle Eastern country.
