Bobby Lashley rewrote history books this past Monday Night on Raw when he squashed The Miz to end his WWE Championship drought. Despite all the shenanigans surrounding the title match throughout the show, Lashley has nothing but praise for the former champion.

He said, “I’m never a person to put down on anybody, but I think Miz is incredible”
“No one is better at it, and he’s – everything about it. I mean there were some parts here where we had to add a little extra time, Miz just grabbed the mic and he just starts going. He was just playing it to the character so much – and he gets it. And that’s why he’s so successful,” Lashley continued.
He concluded his praise for The Miz by just listing down all that he has earned in life.
“Well, if they don’t like Miz, they’re probably jealous. If you read any of the reports online, I think Miz just bought a $6-7 million dollar house, Maryse is gorgeous, he has a great family, he has a reality show, a game show, he’s doing movies. He’s the only two-time triple crowner. I’ll take any one of those. If you don’t like Miz, you have a little bit of jealousy in you. I’m a fan of The Miz,” said Lashley.
No matter what characters our favorite wrestlers play on TV, it’s nice to see them having each other’s backs behind the scenes. Lashley could’ve easily belittled The Miz to stay in character, but he didn’t, and instead, hurled praises at him. We guess it’s safe to call him, ‘Good Guy Lashley.’
What’s next for ‘The Almighty?’
Lashley has been at his best yet. His association with MVP to form The Hurt Business has done wonders for him and others involved. Given the run of dominance and steam behind him, it’s highly unlikely that he’d drop the title at WWE Fastlane.
