Brock Lesnar is one of the biggest names that are likely to appear at WrestleMania 39. So, it is undeniable that a lot of eyes would be on who ‘The Beast’ will wrestle at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals.’ Lesnar has already given the audience some of the best WrestleMania moments in wrestling history, one of them being the shocking end of The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania XXX.
While many thought that it was going to be Bobby Lashley who will face him this year at the grand event, given that the two hulking monsters have not concluded their rivalry, WWE may be going in another direction. Before their Elimination Chamber match, Bray Wyatt announced he would be waiting for the winner of their match. Lashley won the bout by disqualification, and now Wyatt may call out The All Mighty on SmackDown this week. But where does it leave Lesnar?

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the past Monday Night Raw show. On the show, Omos issued a challenge to The Beast Incarnate, for a match at WrestleMania 39. We may get to know about Lesnar’s decision next week on RAW. But according to Meltzer, he is sure that the plan for Lesnar is to have a match with Omos.
He said, “I thought every match (at Elimination Chamber) was strong, except the Lesnar match. The Lesnar match, you know, it was four minutes and had an explosive finish, it was a typical Lesnar match that they do. It was a way to get out of the match. Obviously, they’re going with Bray Wyatt against Lashley and they’re going with Brock Lesnar vs Omos.”

This decision may prove to be divisive among the fanbase if WWE indeed goes ahead with Omos vs Lesnar at WrestleMania Hollywood. Fans may have preferred a conclusive ending to the Lashley and Lesnar rivalry, which has been engrossing them for months. Lashley and Wyatt could obviously put on a good contest as well, but there is a chance of a fan disconnect for that match.
But the wildest decision is that of putting Omos going against Lesnar. Not only has Lesnar never had an interaction with Omos on camera, but the Nigerian Giant also hasn’t been featured on TV of late.
