Carly asked if it was a nod to how ripped Ripley was. To this, she said, it had nothing to do with it, but she got that from fans a lot.
Ripley said, “But I actually got it from the chick from Aliens.” This surprised both hosts of the podcast. Ripley is the name of the name protagonist of the Alien movie franchise. The first movie was released in 1979 and was a blend of science fiction and horror, directed by Ridley Scott.

Ripley’s upcoming battle to retain the Women’s World Championship
Speaking of the season premiere of Monday Night RAW, this episode will see Ripley take on Shayna Baszler in a non-title match. Baszler and Ripley went head-to-head as they could not decide who would beat down Nia Jax last week. Ripley was the person to take the NXT Women’s title off Baszler back in December 2019, and Baszler has waited in the shadows to exact her revenge.
There are high chances that this match could see the interference of Jax, resulting in a triple threat match for the title at Crown Jewel. The addition of Raquel Rodriguez in the mix might also make it a Fatal 4 Way match. With Jax returning, the position of the strongest woman in the WWE has been up for grabs. Everyone from Baszler to Jax to Raquel Rodriguez wants to remove Ripley from the top spot.
