WWE’s latest PLE wasn’t the best deal for the villainous faction ‘Judgment Day’. The members suffered greatly at Money in the Bank, with only one of them being able to secure the victory. Speaking of ‘suffering’, the leader of Judgment Day didn’t have a painless experience either. Despite giving his all into the match, Finn Balor lost to his past rival.

However, that wasn’t even close to why he felt humiliated. While Balor didn’t mention much about his feelings regarding the lost title match, he expressed dissatisfaction about how fans reacted during his entry. Balor felt ‘disrespected’ because of how Seh Rollins’ supporters reacted during his entrance.

The Demon’s feud with Seth Rollins isn’t a new one. In fact, the rivalry has been going on since 2016, if not longer than that. All of it started with SummerSlam 2016. When Rollins stood in Balor’s way to becoming the inaugural WWE Universal Champion, the latter did not appreciate it. Even after defeating his opponent, The Demon was salty and continued the rivalry.

Now, after almost 7 years, Balor wanted Rollins’ World Heavyweight title in revenge.

During his entry at Money in the Bank, several fans ignored Balor’s theme song and overpowered it by singing Rollins’ theme instead. The 41-year-old did not like the reaction and ranted about it on Corey Graves‘ podcast, “Obviously, the fans are there, they paid money to have their voice heard and they’re entitled to that, but for me personally, after what I’ve gone through and lost at the hands of Seth Rollins over the past seven years, I felt disrespected.

To avoid sounding abrupt, Balor gave proper reasoning for his words, “I waited seven years to tell people and tell Seth most importantly how I felt, and for his supporters to just drown out what I had pent up for seven years was disrespectful.

Ironically enough, this wasn’t the only ‘disrespectful’ thing that happened to Balor during the PLE. What happened following his theme song could be regarded as more concerning.

The WWE universe watches as Judgment Day crumbles

The fall of any renowned faction is eminent. However, due to their on-screen solidarity and brotherhood, it was hard to predict Judgment Day would go down this road. The villainous factions’ individual losses put a hamper on the state of affairs at Money in the Bank. Dominik Mysterio lost his match against The American Nightmare. Balor got disrespected by the audience during the PLE. While Damien Priest secured a good win for himself, he turned on the faction’s leader.

During Balor’s match with Seth Rollins, Priest stood at ringside. The Judgment Day member even threatened to intervene in the match. This made The Demon lose his momentum and eventually lose to Rollins, making him retain the title.

At last, Balor’s revenge remained unfulfilled. And now, he wants to take away everything from Rollins that the latter took from him.
