‘They Only Looked Out for Themselves’: Former Colleague Puts The Bella Twins Under the Bus by Charging Them With Allegations of Disrespectful Behavior; Fans Feel Disgusted

Earlier this year, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella, popularly known as The Bella Twins, announced their split from WWE. The sisters had signed a contract with the promotion in 2007. Their announcement in March brought an end to a 16-year-old partnership that was filled with highs and lows. While the twins managed to win a few championships during their tenure, they certainly weren’t the most threatening inside the ring. But they helped the women’s division in WWE.

The sisters also gained fame with their candid nature in Total Divas, a reality show which revolved around female WWE wrestlers and their families. There’s no denying that the show was instrumental in getting people hooked on women’s wrestling after the dull years the promotion endured with the women’s division in the late 2000s.

The contribution was rewarded by WWE, who inducted the sisters into its prestigious Hall of Fame in 2021. But not everyone is on the same page with The Bella Twins’ contribution. A former WWE wrestler, who worked closely with the twins, has leveled accusations against the duo.

Alicia Fox opens up on getting exploited in WWE

Alicia Fox, who last made an appearance in WWE at Royal Rumble 2022, announced her departure from the promotion on May 1 this year. Fox was part of WWE for 17 years, during which she became the first African American woman to win the WWE Divas Champion.

The 37-year-old was also involved in storylines with the Bella Twins, tagging along with them to form ‘Team Bella’. While the sisters enjoyed a sharp rise, the journey wasn’t the same for their partner, who had to overcome her personal battles outside the ring.

Recently, Alicia Fox shared her experiences on Twitch during a live stream and addressed several issues, including ones to do with The Bella Twins. She showed one of her gears and her logo, which was made in collaboration with fellow wrestler Sandra Grey. According to Fox, the sisters used these without giving due credit to her.

“They did not care. They didn’t care. So, I don’t know, do you all care?,” Fox told the viewers.

Meanwhile, this garnered angry reactions from social media users, who came down hard on The Bella Twins.

People call out Brie and Nikki Bella

Brie Bella and Nikki Bella received a lot of support as they took shots at the WWE on Instagram Live earlier this year. They spoke about the poor booking of the women’s division. They were also advertised to appear on RAW 30, but did not attend the event. The criticism initiated a debate online. Six months later, Fox has taken a shot at them and likely exposed their true nature.

This fan feels Fox deserved better.
