Wrestlers like Sasha Banks are responsible for influencing the rising generation of wrestlers. One of them happens to be the young wrestling talent, Izzy Moreno. Although the rising star is widely known for being a notably huge fan of Bayley, she doesn’t shy away from showing her admiration for other wrestlers as well.

Recently, Moreno showed wrestling fans that not only does she admire Bayley, but she also liked her former rival growing up. This can be seen in one of her wrestling gears as she accidentally recreated an iconic look from back when Sasha Banks was still a NXT star.

Sasha Banks’ iconic match served as accidental inspiration for Moreno’s wrestling gear

When the young talent was trying to choose the best colors for her wrestling gear, she wanted to pick out something that her ‘character’ would like the most. As a result, she ended up picking the colors purple and green. Moreno visited her gear designers who did not accept clients often but ended up liking her idea. Little did she know that in the pursuit of being unique, she accidentally recreated an iconic gear.

Recently, Moreno sat down with Fightful, where she told the story about how she ended up getting her purple and green gear, Moreno revealed that it was an accident.

The young talent recalled, “It was funny because my gear designers, they’re very specific. They weren’t really accepting a lot of clients at the time. They were like, ‘We don’t want red and black gear’. And I was like, ‘Oh trust me, mine’s not red and Black’. They fell in love with my gear and then so now we’re making gear. I just came out with the ‘skull’ one. That one was really awesome. Everybody’s like ‘Oh my God, Sasha gear’.” She further added, “Honestly I had no idea, I bought the fabric without knowing it was like her Brooklyn Takeover Gear and I was like ‘Oh. Cool. Dope.’”

The NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn match between Bayley and “The Boss” was a timeless classic for most wrestling fans. One of those must have been Izzy Moreno. As a result, it seems her subconscious mind ended up recreating the August 2015 match.

Not only Sasha Banks, but the ‘Bayley Superfan’ has talked about CM Punk with great respect as well. This happened during another one of the ‘exclusive’ interviews that she was featured in.

In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Izzy Moreno talked about how “The Best in the World” is one of the few male wrestlers that she loved watching on her television growing up. However, this admiration wasn’t the only thing that she revealed in the interview.

Moreno clearly stated that the WWE legend may be the ‘hottest free agent’ in WWE for now. However, when she enters the scene after she has hit the age of 18, she will snatch that title away from him.
