When Randy Orton returned from his 2022 injury hiatus, a lot had changed in WWE. For starters, the power dynamic of the promotion had been completely altered. As a TKO subsidiary now, full control of WWE was handed over to Triple H and Nick Khan. While some doubted this decision, Orton assured everyone that it was a good move.
In a recent interview, Orton sat down to talk about various topics. While conversing about his workplace, he couldn’t help but point out the positive changes that Paul Levesque’s leadership brought in the leading wrestling promotion.

During the early days of his recovery, Randy Orton’s doctors had suggested that he give up on his wrestling career. This broke him. Although he eventually beat the odds to join WWE again, the danger of messing up his health did not stop looming over him. To make him feel at ease, Paul Levesque and Nick Khan gave him special leverage.
While having a chat with Sports Illustrated, Randy Orton started appreciating the new changes brought about by WWE’s new management team. According to him, the company now ‘cares’ about its talents.
“Since I’ve been back, post-spinal fusion, and I’m talking like Chicago Survivor Series, Triple H and Nick Khan reassured me to come to them if I needed anything and they’d take care of it,” confessed Orton. He further detailed, “If something is bugging me and I don’t want to put my body through a physical toll of a match, I can still make the TV, cut a promo, and hit an RKO or two. That is going to enable me to do this for a long time… The company changed, and they care about the talent. I think everybody feels the same way”
After this, Orton also said that he appreciates what the management is doing for its employees. The Viper also claimed that this is something the ‘men in power’ don’t back off from.
Even before this interview, the WWE legend had appreciated some similar changes the company made to its policies.

Since the 43-year-old has been around for a long time in the Stamford-based company, he has seen it operate under different ownership as well. Contrastingly to how things seem now, the company’s ‘leave-taking’ policy was way different from what it is.
Back then, when Kim Orton was giving birth to one of their children, the WWE legend didn’t have enough time to support his wife. Randy didn’t even get to bring his wife home. However, when he returned to the promotion in 2023, this policy had completely changed, allowing wrestlers to be more lenient with their leaves.
