Jeff Hardy is one of the most decorated superstars in the pro-wrestling industry. He, along with his brother Matt Hardy, started wrestling at a very young age. He was an enhancement talent in his initial career in WWE. Slowly and gradually Jeff Hardy picked up his momentum and became the best superstar in WWE.

Jeff Hardy is a three-time World Champion in WWE and a two-time world champion in TNA or Impact Wrestling. He made quite a name for himself in other companies before making his return to WWE in 2017. WWE recently released him from WWE in December 2021.

Jeff Hardy is waiting for his 90-day no-compete clause to get over, which will end mid March. Post then he will have a match at Big Time Wrestling in a tag team match alongside Matt Hardy.

Recently, Jeff appeared in an interview with Jared Myers. There, Myers asked him about his WWE release and future plans.

Jeff said, “You want me to go away (for rehab) for 28 days, just to save my job? No. You know whats important to me? Family. My two daughters, my wife, they believe in me & f**k WWE” 

Jeff Hardy, in his last match, did a hot tag and started walking backstage through the fans area. WWE wanted him to go for rehab and also offered him the same, but he didn’t accept the offer of rehab from WWE. Five days later, he was released from the company. 

WWE later offered him to come back and also offered him to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022. The younger Hardy claimed it’s too early for him to be into the Hall of Fame.

Jeff Hardy going to AEW

Further in the interview, Jeff Hardy also gave an update on his future in pro-wrestling. His WWE no-compete clause will end by mid of next month. He already has a match after that at Big Time Wrestling. However, he claimed he was going to AEW.

Jeff said, “I’m going to AEW. I’m so excited until this morning I didn’t really know. I’m so nervous and excited.”

Later he confirmed on his Twitter “Nothing is official, SocialMedia. It can’t be right now.I’ve simply set a goal for myself & I will achieve it…eventually? The main thing is,’Don’t get excited!’.”
