Dominik Mysterio is one of the top heels in the WWE and arguably the most hated performer in the RAW roster. His habit of getting into the faces of others has landed him in trouble on many occasions. A similar incident happened last night when he confronted Cody Rhodes along with JD McDonagh.

Dominik Mysterio was riding high on confidence after The Judgement Day’s win over Owens and Jey Uso. But Cody Rhodes was quick to cut Mysterio down to size by handing him a beat down.

Cody Rhodes bestows a beatdown to Dirty Dom

Last night’s episode of RAW (September 11th) had many twists and turns, resulting in new storylines. During one of the segments, Dirty Dom confronted Cody Rhodes.

Dominik Mysterio was too straightforward while talking to Cody Rhodes. He said, “(Flipping Cody Rhodes’ tie)” Jey Uso is gonna be in the Judgement day, it’s gonna be amazing. And there’s not a thing that you can do about it.” 

Mysterio was referring to Jey Uso’s joining The Judgement Day as hints of differences were visible between Kevin Owens and Jey Uso in the show. During a tag team match, Jey Uso mistakenly super-kicked Kevin Owens, resulting in the duo losing the match. 

Though Owens was in favor of letting in Jey Uso to the roster, the tables turned quickly after a tag team match against The Judgement Day. It led to speculation that Jey Uso might turn heel someday and join the heel stable.

Cody Rhodes ended the segment by delivering a Cody-cutter and Cross Rhodes to Dominik Mysterio, who was without the protection of Mami Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator was preparing for her upcoming match against Raquel Rodriguez.

Ripley also had a bittersweet night as she clinched the victory but suffered an attack from the person who helped her retain the title.

Mami Rhea Ripley receives assistance from an unexpected ally turned foe

Dominik Mysterio was not the only Judgement Day member to be in trouble last night. After Dirty Dom was banned from ringside for the Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez match, Mami received assistance from an unexpected friend. Former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax delivered a Samoan drop to Rodriguez before Ripley finished the match with a Riptide. 

However, Nia Jax quickly made her intentions clear by attacking Rhea Ripley. She had shown signs of her heat against Mami for many months now. As per Jax, she had to cut Ripley down to size after their singles match in 2019 that ended with Ripley’s win.
