Taking a break from the WWE and moving to Hollywood has significantly contributed to Dwayne Johnson’s $800 million fortune. Over the years, the man has built a reputation for his positive outlook towards life.

When not working, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, as his social media posts suggest.

However, fans would find it surprising that the Brahma Bull had apprehensions about walking down the aisle the second time.

For the unversed, The Rock was married to his first wife, Dany Garcia, for 11 years, until they split in 2008. He later married Lauren Hashian. The two took their vows on August 18, 2019, 16 months after the birth of their second daughter, Tiana Gia Johnson.

The couple had been living as partners for over a decade before ringing in the wedding bells. When asked what took them so long, he told WSJ Magazine, “My divorce did a number on me. I wasn’t fearful of getting married again, there was just some hesitancy.”

He then credited his wife for being “incredibly patient”.

According to PEOPLE, nothing in the Johnson household is off limits and the couple tease each other about everything.

He also shared that watching his wife transform into a mother has been “one of the most enlightening things” he has ever seen.

The couple met in 2007, when Hashian worked as an event planner at a party for a movie Johnson was filming. Recalling his first meeting with his second wife, Johnson told WSJ Magazine, “Within 30 seconds, I thought, Wow, this girl’s stunning.”

The couple is blessed with two girls, Jasmine Lia, born in December 2015, and Tiana Gia (2018).

Hashian: A triple-jump record holder, loves to keep a low-key profile

While he is one of the biggest names in the pro wrestling world, The Rock wasn’t the first from his family to enter the ring. And with his eldest daughter, Simone Alexandra, following in his footsteps, he certainly won’t be the last.

However, that is not the only sporting tie that connects the family. Hashian, who’s a musician by profession, held the triple jump record in high school.

She said it helps to keep a balance in the family. Meanwhile, her husband credits a solid home life for all his success.

In a 2015 interview with Esquire, Dwayne Johnson had said, “You gotta get the better half in there. With all the cool s**t and success that I’ve been lucky enough to get? That doesn’t happen unless the home life is solid.”
