There’s nothing hotter in WWE than seeing Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley go at each other. But while their first clash back in January was exciting, this time in Crown Jewel, it wasn’t as brutal. While there were many spears and german suplexes, the match’s ending left many things hanging in the middle for many fans. But what people didn’t recognize was the change in Lesnar’s performance.

But unlike other fans, this wrestling veteran noticed it clearly and spoke out about it. Not only is this surprising because this veteran rarely likes anything that WWE does, but also because of his past with Lesnar. When they were working together, the legend actually threatened Lesnar with a gun for behaving inappropriately with his wife.
Wrestling veteran brutally criticizes Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley’s match
On his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette, the wrestling veteran, talked about Crown Jewel. He said, “So they [WWE] start out with Brock and Lashley. My God, what are we doing? And Lashley jumpstarts it because he’s the offended party from last time as I recall, and he hurts Brock’s leg to give Brock something to sell and it’s an all-big move match. The thing that Brock showed here in this match is that he can sell his a** off and he will when it’s called for. And it’s believable, you know, there was emotion to this.”

But while he praised it, he didn’t like the finish of the match. Cornette added, “One of the oldest f*cking finishes in the world when somebody needs to get a fluke when [they] kick off the turnbuckle, a guy’s got the Full Nelson, but he’s pinned 1, 2, 3. I know they want to extend it and they can’t beat either one of these guys flat-out convincingly with no out or b*tch or room for gripe or whatever, but boy, that wasn’t exactly a Pat Patterson f*cking special finish there. That kind of led me down at the end.”
