Few teams in WWE were as daunting and intimidating as Undertaker and Kane. The Brothers of Destruction united in 1998 and ran roughshod over WWE during the Attitude Era. The duo became one of the most iconic teams to step foot in the ring.

The celebration of the Undertaker’s thirty-year journey in wrestling has yielded some very insightful documentaries. The most recent one is of the Undertaker’s friendship with his kayfabe brother Kane.
Glenn Jacobs, aka the ‘Big Red Monster,’ debuted in 1997 to become the Undertaker’s archrival. The two would clash at WrestleMania in Inferno matches, Hell in a Cell matches, and even Buried Alive matches as per necessity.
“As soon as I heard Kane and brother, I said ‘Oh this is gonna be good”, said the Deadman. “Its a mythology, the matches will give you goosebumps,” said the Mayor of Knoxville County.
“Our story is probably the greatest story ever told”, said Taker.
Fans would definitely agree with this. The sheer volume of kayfabe that went into making Taker vs Kane a feud was insane. To make that feud seem real and intense instead of corny and cheesy was a difficult task.
Undertaker and Kane constantly elevated each other
The Undertaker and Kane went on to do some really great things in the professional wrestling business. Taker had his iconic streak as well as six World Championship reigns.
Kane held the record for most eliminations in a Rumble match and won the Money in the Bank contract, which led to his third and final World Championship.
The duo may have had a stunning rivalry, but they also formed a very entertaining tag team. The Brothers of Destruction sowed fear into the hearts of their opponents.
They shared the same finisher and signature moves, both were amazingly agile in the ring, and were bonafide superstars.
