Ronda Rousey lost her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on the final 2022 episode of the blue brand. Following her loss, a fan asked her when she will get her revenge on The Queen. The Baddest Women on the Planet responded by saying that she is “tired” of Flair and would like to shift her attention to the WWE Women’s Tag Team division.

Two months later, it looks like ‘The Rowdy One’ is finally ready to pursue her desire to take over the Women’s Tag Team division alongside her partner in the ring, Shayna Baszler. However, fans do not seem to approve of it.

Ronda Rousey wants a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Title

According to the latest reports, Rousey is reportedly trying to take WWE’s creative powers into her hand. She is pushing the creative team of the company to put her and her partner up for a tag team title win at The Showcase of Immortals next month.

“Ronda is pushing for the tag titles. That’s the match that she wants and whatever she wants, she gets,” according to a source’s statement to WrestlingNews.co. The source also revealed that the team of former MMA fighters will hold the tag team titles throughout spring and summer.

WWE had originally planned for the former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion to defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania this year. But since the former wanted a change in her storyline, The Eradicator will face The Queen instead.

Fans are not happy with Rousey meddling with the WWE storyline

This news of Rousey trying to get her way and pushing the WWE creative  has irked some of the WWE fans. These fans made sure to voice their opinions on social media.

It seems like fans do not like where The Rowdy’s storyline is heading.

Some fans want Rousey gone from WWE.

The team of WWE Hall of Famer, Lita, and Becky Lynch recently won the Women’s Tag Team titles from the Damage CTRL on the Feb 27 edition of Monday Night Raw. If the Stamford-based wrestling promotion gives green light to Rowdy’s idea, then the fans might get to see tag team action featuring the duo of Rousey and Baszler, and Lita and Lynch’s team on the opposite corners of the squared circle.
