The latest Friday night SmackDown saw Roman Reigns giving The Usos a dressing down. The Tribal Chief’s return was not to address the WWE universe rather it was to talk to Jimmy and Jey Uso over things that happened in the past few weeks. However, just hours after getting slammed by Reigns, The Usos defeated a top tag team on SmackDown.

The Head of the Table announced he and Solo Sikoa will face Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the tag titles at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia after the failure of The Usos to keep tag team title gold in the Bloodline. Nevertheless, the former Undisputed Tag Team Champions yet showed they can still win big matches.

Reigns took away the opportunity of Jimmy and Jey Uso for challenging for the tag titles at Night of Champions. There was a heated moment between Reigns and his cousins on SmackDown, but The Usos later won a major match on the blue brand showing their dominance.

After SmackDown went off-air, The Usos faced The Street Profits in a dark match at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Street Profits aka Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford is a decorated tag team in WWE. The match was loved by the fans as these two teams always create magic when they are in the ring. There were flashbacks of their match from Money in the Bank PLE last year.

The eight-time tag team champions won the match after connecting a double super kick on Dawkins and Ford. Jimmy Usos pinned Ford after putting him through 1-D while Jey sat in the corner as the referee made the count.

Clearly, after a hectic night, this was a moment of relief for The Usos defeating The Street Profits. Dawkins and Ford are indeed the top tag teams in WWE as they are the only third Tag Team Triple Crown Champion.
