“The Phenom” The Undertaker confirmed his retirement on the WWE Network documentary The Last Ride. The documentary showed the fans all the moments of The Undertaker’s life and 30-year WWE career that ended at WrestleMania 36 in a Boneyard Match against AJ Styles.

AJ Styles, one of the best pro-wrestler in the last 20 years, was one of the original members of Total Nonstop Action (TNA) and had a 10+ year career there. After a stint in NJPW, he made his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble Match.

He stayed with WWE, with no news of a move, until this year, when it was noted that his current WWE contract was about to expire. As AJ Styles is a big name in the industry, there would have been no shortage of suitors if he entered free agency.

However, Fightful Select confirmed that AJ Styles has stayed with WWE and signed a big-money contract worth around $3 million a year. Also, he has some additional bus travel accommodations paid for.

Hence, fans can rest easy as ‘The Phenomenal One’ will stay in WWE for a few more years at the very least.

Styles, in his recent interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport YouTube, said that he wants to work as a coach or talent search committee member after he retires from WWE.

Are AJ Styles and Edge having a match at WrestleMania 38?

AJ Styles spoke about his dream matches in WWE. While ‘The Phenomenal One’ was a part of The Undertaker‘s swansong, he has one dream match in WWE, i.e. against Hall of Famer Edge. He also claimed that they are pitching the idea for the same to Vince McMahon.

In the latest episode of RAW, Edge talked about all the Mania’s he has been a part of and then talked about wanting to make his next Mania “Phenomenal” because he needs WrestleMania in his life. This is a hint that WWE is planning AJ Styles vs Edge at WrestleMania 38.
