In the recent episode of Foley is Pod, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley thanked The Undertaker. He appreciated ‘The Deadman’ for all the contributions in the career of the ‘Hardcore Legend’. Foley mainly focused on their infamous Hell in a Cell match at the 1998 King of the Ring.
Foley said, “I usually, you know as each year passes, I’ll post something. I don’t think I posted last year as I realized this is 25 years. I’ll go out of my way to thank him because without him I’m just a hand. I think I’m a respected hand, but if that program doesn’t go the way it does and I didn’t join in, join up thinking it would go that way.”
The former three-time WWE Champion added, “I joined up thinking, okay King of the Ring 1996 Milwaukee, I do the favors and then I move down the ladder. I had to do a double take when he goes over the finish and we were off to the races brother. So, thank you Undertaker for everything you’ve done for me.”
The seven-time world champion had quite a few other amazing matches with Foley, too. However, Taker didn’t mention the Hardcore Legend in his Hall of Fame speech last year. Moreover, Mankind later shared his thoughts saying the WWE legend didn’t mention other stars too.
