However, his WWE Legend Biography revealed a lot of previously undisclosed stories about his life, and it’s fascinating for wrestling fans to learn about his true self, which he had hidden for 30 years.

Taker is extremely different from his character—who killed his family—in real life; he is a family man. Taker recently revealed details about his family, focusing particularly on his eldest son, Gunner Vincent.

In case you don’t know, Gunner Vincent is his first child from his first marriage with Jodi Lynn. Talking about him in his biography, he stated, “I missed out on so much those early years with them because I was pursued in this dream. It’s just hard to be that guy on the road and then come home and try to be a dad.”

He added, “It was hardest, I think, with my oldest son, Gunner. I think he got the worst end of the deal. It wasn’t that I didn’t love him, I did. I loved him at home and doing things. With my girls, I didn’t had really an option to spend as much time with them.”

When Gunner Vincent was born in 1993, Taker was still a relative unknown in the WWE universe and on the road to building his legacy as an icon. Since The Phenom was always traveling to perform in various places around the country, as a result, he was unable to spend time with his family.

Gunner first showed an interest in pursuing a wrestling career when he was only a little youngster. However, as he aged, his interests changed. He left wrestling, enrolled at Full Sail University, and earned his bachelor’s degree in video game art.

Gunner lost interest in wrestling as his enthusiasm for creating video games grew. He is a well-known Twitch video game streamer who does creative artwork as well. Consequently, as of now, he didn’t wish to build his career as a wrestler.
